Background: Pod borer is most serious problem to cultivation of chickpea across the world. In India, Madhya Pradesh rank first in both area and production chickpea. This region considered affected yield due H. armigera. Host plant resistance an important component for managing this pest. To develop cultivars with insects, it understand role oxalic acid associated The current study aimed expression against pod Helicoverpa armigera (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) varieties under climate change. Methods: investigation was carried out at Research Farm Soybean Seed Production-Unit, College Agriculture, JNKVV (MP) during Rabi season 2019-20 2020-21. field experiment laid split plot design 24 treatments three replications. included date sowing i.e. 15th November, 30th November December as a main plots, two irrigation levels I0-no I1- 35 DAS sub plots four JG 12, 36, 14 plots. observation on number eggs larval population were recorded from one-meter row length (mrl). At five randomly selected places averaged separately each made per meter amount leaves determined by UFLC method. correlation worked varieties. Result: investigation, ultra-fast liquid chromatography (UFLC) profiles leaf exudates exhibited amounts significantly negative egg count larvae incidence
